Kristen MacDonald, Executive Director
Graduating with a Sport Management degree from Brock University, Kristen has always had a passion and been involved in skating. She became a coach as soon as she could and holds a Provincial Coach (Level 2) certification. Kristen was the General Manager for PacificSport Northern BC from 2008-2012 where she built strong community relationships and grew the vision of the organization, including a satellite office and a Sport School for athletes pursing excellence. A supporter of long-term athlete development, she led the expansion of programs and services to support athletic development across the northern BC region. In 2013, Kristen joined the City of Hamilton as a Sports Specialist where she co-lead the creation of the first community-focused Physical Literacy Summit in Canada. Kristen moved to Prince Edward Island in April 2017 with her husband and two boys.
